About Smriti

Smriti (Bengali for “memory”) began with a trunk of our grandmother’s dresses and a tailor in Old Dhaka who could copy any collar.

Today we cut each piece new, from old patterns and photographs, in fabrics that feel the way they used to — and every piece tells you which decade it came from.
